Overview
Leaving the ATTE facilities and after about 6 kms on asphalt we enter the gravel. Many variety of tracks, sometimes more technical and hard, and some other times faster and wider, will take us west towards the largest mountain in the algarve - Monchique with its highest point at about 900 m altitude. Already in the mountain and before we start descending towards Marmelete, we will stop at the Benafátima viewpoint to enjoy stunning views.
Next and after a few more very hard and technical kms and after Marmelete, we will start rolling on much faster tracks, despite equally technical that will bring us quite closer to the western algarve coast and to our stop in Budens, where in addition to refueling the vehicles will take also the chance to have lunch and recharge batteries in a fantastic pizzaria.
In the afternoon we will continue on very mixed tracks, now towards the East. At km 170 we will winder the Odeáxere dam for a few kms of pure driving pleasure. At km 200 and after crossing briefly the asphalt we will begin to go up to the North of Silves in very technical tracks for a few kms more, just before we will go by the Arade and Funcho dams respectively, until at km 250 we cross once again the asphalt of the IC1 to definitely head east, first to Alte and finally and through more rolling tracks to Benafim and ATTE where we will arrive with about 275 kms.

We also have simple protective glasses available, which we also recommend using, or sunglasses, as well as disposable surgical masks to reduce the effects of dust.
