Overview

Starting at ATTE facilities we head north on asphalt for about 3 kms. Passing through the historic village of Penina, at the foot of Rocha da Pena, a protected landscape area, we get on gravel rolling tracks and begin to go up where reaching km 6 we pass the pena windmills, an area with a stunning view to the south and where in cleaner days you can see the ocean.

At km 20.5 we reach Malhão at about 500 m altitude, famous for the arrival of one of the queen stages of the Tour of the Algarve by bicycle, a competition included in the European Tour and also known for the Buddhist temple that exists there. We continue on rolling tracks until about km 30 where we enter more technical areas and go down to the small village of Zambujal to quickly go up again on very fast tracks.

At km 38 and when we pass through "Águas Frias" we enter much narrower and less visible tracks. At km 44 and after crossing secondary asphalt roads, we enter "harder" tracks, turning east to begin to turn back to Benafim. At kms 46 and 47.5, we have again points of interest with a viewpoint/picnic area in a wooden structure and another old restored windmill, both with wide views of the surrounding mountains. at km 50 we get on to asphalt again to head south to the ATTE workshop where we end our tour.

Our Yamaha Wolverine Rmax 1000, with brand new 2 cylinder engines with 999 cc, fantastic wide range Fox suspensions and fully automatic 4x4 transmission provide an easy and comfortable ride for a family or group of friends to explore off-road in style

- We recommend comfortable clothing, preferably sporty and appropriate to the season. Don't forget that our buggies are completely open and do not have a windshield, so even on the hottest days, a windproof jacket is always recommended. Our SSV's are by law limited to 60 km/h, which we assure are sufficient to provide true TT sensations on the tracks we choose, and have all the mandatory safety systems, namely restraint belts in all seats, with no mandatory helmet use. We can, however, provide a helmet at no additional cost to any of our guests who wishes. We also have simple protective glasses available, which we also recommend using, or sunglasses, as well as disposable surgical masks to reduce the effects of dust.
