MTB_5 - Benafim Paderne Marina de Vilamoura Algarve

Start at ATTE with exit to the South on rolling tracks in the middle of the Algarve barrocal. At km 7 we cross Ribeira de Algibre for the first time and enter a single track along it for around 2.5 km. At km 10.5 we cross the Ribeira de Algibre again, now heading north, to once again enter faster and more rolling tracks that are part of complementary routes to the GR13 (Via Algarviana) to reach Paderne where at km 18 and approximately halfway through the tour we stop next to the Paderne Castle to hydrate and have a small traditional snack.

We continue towards the Southeast along tracks with some rocks and waterholes, therefore somewhat technical, until around km 23 we find Ribeira de Algibre again and shortly after enjoy an excellent single track with around 2 more kms of pure adrenaline.

At km 28 we have to cross the EN 125 to head south until we return to follow the small river now called Quarteira to reach the famous cliffs on one of the longest sandy beaches in the area that will take us on tracks with magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean, to the famous Vilamoura Marina where our tour ends.
